Reported on Britain's "Sky News"
A Henry Moore modern art sculpture was stolen. It is valued at 3 million British pounds.
The huge sculpture would be a difficult object to sell, being very recognizeable -- not to mention being rather large (11-feet long) & heavy (2 tons).
Authorities speculate that the bronze sculpture may have been stolen for scrap
metal.
Hmmm... now why is that not a problem with the works of, say, Michelangelo ("They
may cut up The David for scrap marble...") or Bartholdi ("They may
melt down the Statue of Liberty...") ?
