Reviving an old tradition, I have decided to issue my ever-optimistic official predictions for the Cincinnati Bengals' 2005 season. Oh, sure, sure, some may disagree with me. Well, time will tell. But my extensive research on the Bengals and their opponents must be reckoned with. Or not.

Final accuracy of Curt's preseason 2005 predictions: 69%
It should also be noted that the final two regular-season games were not played at full tilt. If they had been, I'm still thinkin' the Bengals would've won. Now... if we exclude those two games, then the season accuracy increases to 79%. (And if they had, in fact, won, then the accuracy would have increased to 81%.)

L [17-31] Yeah, ok, they lost. But it was only cuz of that
evil shot that injured Palmer.
